Rinse with warm water, add a few drops of mild soap, shake gently, and scrub the interior with a soft bottle brush — paying attention to the base, neck, and lid. Rinse thoroughly until no soap remains and air dry completely with the lid off before first use.
Add 1–2 teaspoons of baking soda with warm water, let it sit for 20–30 minutes, then scrub and rinse. For stronger smells, soak with equal parts white vinegar and warm water for 15–20 minutes. Always clean the lid and silicone ring separately, and air dry completely with the lid off — trapped moisture is the most common cause of odour.
